Her effortless blend of feel good party anthems, classics, funky remixes, edits, present and future beats with cutting edge electronic rhythmical grooves best describes her ‘Fuzion of Flytraxx’.

Venus has rocked parties at top London clubs and members only venues for guests such as Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton, Football star Ashley Cole, TV personality Gok Wan, Xbox Celebrity Gaming to name only a few. Plus venues like Cargo, Embassy, Yager Bar, DSTRKT formerly known as Rex Bar, Planet Hollywood, Tiger Tiger, Gramophone in London, Bristol, and York as part of the UMA tour to name only a few.

In the words of Grace Jones, Venus is a ‘slave to the rhythm’, so moving people with lots of bass, and hard hitting drums translates through her party sets as she surfs through genres from hip hop, various styles of house, disco, tropical bass, pop, soul, breakbeat, electro, and more in her quest to celebrate music as one nation under a groove.

She made her debut into the EDM/House market in 2012 with the release of Chicago’s Acid house pioneer DJ Pierre releasing his single ‘Strobelights, Lazer, Disco’ on the award winning Steve Aoki’s label Dim Mak Records. The single featuring Venus Flytraxx on vocals soared to the top 100 of the Beatport Electronic chart. The single was also featured on Steve Aoki’s Greatest hits of 2012 compilation released in January 2013 and included remixes by the well respected Tommie Sunshine. Venus has more collaborations in store with the Acid housemaster DJ Pierre along with house creations of her own to be released soon. Growing up in London Venus enjoyed the wave of many musical crazes from Hip Hop and pop in the 80s, Acid House in the 90s to New Jack Swing, Jungle, Dancehall and more. It was these sounds plus Motown, reggae and calypso played by her mother that inspired her to follow in the footsteps of her DJ Godfather and learn how to DJ as a teenager.
