FULLMARX
Fullmarx is a unique and extremely versatile artist. His genres range from amazing vocal house to commercial pop, hip hop and grime. His breath taking lyrical flow is a way that can only be described as Fullmarx own style. Fullmarx is about to blow into the uk scene very soon.
Fullmarx was born in Eastbourne In 1985 to a Scottish father and Liverpudlian mother. At 14 months he and his family took a long 'holiday' to America...by 4 years old it had been discovered they were in fact illegal immigrants and sent back to blighty on a plane with other deportees. However during his time in the States he had developed a keen passion for music and after 6 months of school in England he was chosen as 1 of 9 kids to sing in the "Bourne school mini choir" Singing in choirs was a trend that he wouldn't grow out of until his mid teens.
With hip hop culture now in his veins and trickling into his musical life along with the inevitable 'dropping of his balls' the choir phase had died and given birth to the incredible natural lyricist and rapper inside him. After a dramatic spell of adolescence he found himself kicked out of home...no job...no hope. It was at one specific sofa surfing venue that his temporary bed lived in the same room as a black Yamaha acoustic guitar, naturally he picked it up and within a fortnight he had taught himself to play almost every Oasis song. A month later he wrote his very own first song called 'peace' and it was to be the first of many brilliant verses. As is the force of music in your veins, naturally just one instrument wasn't enough to quell his appetite for sharing his brilliant and unique talent, so he invested in some audio recording equipment and began to learn the craft of audio production which has led to numerous adulation and collaborations from a string of artists spanning various genres, with the likes of Wiley requesting his lyrics and vocals for a Roll Deep track. In the last ten years he has written over a hundred pieces of quality music.....hip hop, dub step, grime, house or garage, this brilliant lyricist is consistent in his unique delivery and writing style which captivates the listener throughout.
Fullmarx continues to produce outstanding tracks, adding to his previous collaborations with Flowdan, Profit, jookiemundo, Big cakes, don't flops, RBN, Gods Gift, Lil D, Andme, NRKY, Yoshi p, and most recently with Sick Of The South.
His brilliant and unique sound is one to look out for. He is currently producing some outstanding tracks as one part of a collective of musical talent from the south coast known as Sick of the South. Fullmarx is a phenomenal diverse singer songwriter who is truly destined to share his musical brilliance with the masses. Who knows he may even get invited to go back to the USA to perform with some of his hip hop influences, this time with a genuine visa!
